Resident Evil: Code Veronica X HD on Xbox 360 & PS3
With Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil 4 HD) creeping his way onto Xbox Live and PSN last week, Claire & Chris Redfield-and that guy Steve-will be jumping on the same band wagon next Tuesday with Capcom’s HD release of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.
Although a big Resident Evil fan I will admit that I didn’t spend an awful lot of time with CVX as much as I did with other installments of the series. I do however remember being able to target two zombies at once using the dual wielding pistols, being able to upgrade weapons, increase side-pack capacity to carry extra items and wiping the floor with zombies thanks to the ever-so awesome rocket/linear launcher.
Both HD releases of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X and Resident Evil 4 include enhanced visuals alongside added extras and unlockable achievements/trophies. Resident Evil: Code Veronica X will be released on Tuesday 27th September 2011 on both Xbox Live and the PSN store for 1600 MS points and £15.99 respectivley, with PS Plus subscribers getting 50% off the R.R.P.
Personally, I’ll be scooping up RE4 HD first (seeing as I havent played it since released on the PS2) to go alongside the RE1,2,3 & 5 games I already own, then buy CVX in the new year, as I’ll be pretty busy blowing shit up on BF3 and chainsaw-ing the life out of things on Gears of War 3 until then.
Will you be picking up RE4 HD, RE: CVX HD, both, or neither of them? Let me know in the comments box below or over on iTech’s Twitter page.
